Essential teaching requirements for JIES International Exchange School Tokyo / JAPAN include

JIES is seeking School Bus Assistants who ride on school bus with students in the afternoon. School Bus Assistants are responsible for taking attendance, making sure all students' safety during their ride, sending them to parents at each bus stop and contacting parents by phone when necessary.

Work Location: Route 1: From Jingumae, Shibuya-ku to Wada, Suginami-ku (or to Kitamachi, Nerima-ku) (Route 1: Jingumae - Yoyogi Uehara - Kyodo station - Sakura Josui - Hachimanyama - Wada, Suginami-ku)

Work Location: Route 2: From Jingumae, Shibuya-ku to Shinonome, Koto-ku (or to Tatsumi, Koto-ku) (Route 2: Jingumae - Aoyama - Akasaka - Hiroo - Meguro - Shirokane Takanawa - Daiba - Ariake - Shinonome)

Hours: Route 1: Monday to Thursday: 16:00-17:50, Friday: 15:00-16:50

業務内容:

午後の送迎バスに添乗し、生徒の点呼、乗車中の生徒の安全確認、各バ ス停での保護者への生徒の引き渡し、また必要に応じて保護者への電話 連絡等。

JIES is seeking volunteers from the wider community to teach an After School Programme (ASP). It is also a good opportunity for tutors who would like to expand their target audience.

There is no set area for the ASP, but our students enjoy recreational classes that help them relax, socialize and enjoy. Examples of past and current ASPs are:

-Calligraphy
-Tae Kwon-Do
-Drawing & Crafts
-Origami
The ASP is organized in ten-week blocks per term and the times are 3:20~4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.

Although we are looking for volunteers, JIES will be happy to reimburse the transportation expenses as a sign of gratitude. Web links will also be published on the school's web site for those who wish to do extend their business to the JIES community.
