Essential teaching requirements for JIES International Exchange School Tokyo / JAPAN include
Two to five years current teaching experience in the specific grade level or subject area of our vacancy
Experience working with an international education
Experience working in a multi-cultural setting
Familiarity with best practice methodologies as they apply to teaching a diverse student body as well as evidence of recent professional growth activities
Experience and commitment to sponsoring extracurricular and after school activities

| Detail | JIES is seeking volunteers from the wider community to teach an After School Programme (ASP). It is also a good opportunity for tutors who would like to expand their target audience. There is no set area for the ASP, but our students enjoy recreational classes that help them relax, socialize and enjoy. Examples of past and current ASPs are: -Calligraphy Although we are looking for volunteers, JIES will be happy to reimburse the transportation expenses as a sign of gratitude.
